HEAD OF KCRHA RESIGNS

https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/homeless/regional-homelessness-authority-ceo-resigns/

How will this affect our organization?  It’s too soon to tell.  Hopefully, the next person chosen as CEO of KCRHA will have a more favorable view of tiny home villages based on the actual data that LIHI has accumulated on the work that we do.

More to come as the process evolves.

Each cottage features a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, loft, and front porch. The Community House features community living space and community kitchen, property management office, computer lab, a bathroom, and a laundry room. Extensive landscaping, gardens, pathways, and parking complete the design.

The Community House was donated by the Lucky Seven Foundation.

Both Raven Village and Sand Point Cottages will have Open Houses in June.  Stay tuned for more details.

COMING UP

THIS SATURDAY, for the Second Annual One Seattle Day of Service, Fire Chief Scoggins and 14 of his firefighter friends along with our friends Sally Bagshaw and CM Teresa Mosqueda will be building tiny homes with us.  We have enough Team Leads for the day.  Thanks to all who signed up.

SATURDAY, MAY 27TH (which is also Memorial Day weekend), our friend Bernard will be doing his Eagle Scout Project on the build side with us.  We need four Team Leaders for that event.  Please let us know if you can do this.
