Organizational Leadership
Since our beginnings in 2018, our community has thrived on the collective power of thousands of caring individuals and groups who build, donate, and advocate together to make physical, measurable changes in the lives of our neighbors who need shelter. More than 100,000 volunteer hours have made possible what we have accomplished so far! (Spring, 2025) Currently, the following people also serve in organizational, advisory, or supportive roles to help keep us moving forward toward sheltering every homeless neighbor who wants one, in a tiny home.
- Barb Oliver – Dir. of Operations & Volunteer Coord. and Volunteer Team Leader
- Beatrice VanTulder – Leadership Team & Volunteer Team Leader
- David Means – Leadership Team & Volunteer Team Leader
- Mark Horowitz – Leadership Team & Volunteer Team Leader
- Steve Roberts – Leadership Team, Building Support Coordinator & Volunteer Team Leader
- Tom Lennon – Leadership Team & Volunteer Team Leader
- Andrew Buchanan – Development and Communications Coordinator (part time), & Volunteer Team Leader
- Liz Thayer – Paint Dept. Manager, Building Support Coordinator (part time), & Volunteer Team Leader
- Volunteer Team Leaders (the “green-tapers”!) – several dozen regular, experienced volunteers who donate their time to supervising our daily crews, six days per week, making sure that our homes are built to the same high-quality standards, safely and efficiently, every time.
